The Wild have a big depth problem with forwards right now, As of today I have the Wild finishing 6th or 7th In the Central. We shall see If the Wild will have any PTOs In training camp or Invites.

I would like to see Boldy in the top six and the only way that can happen is if he is able to move to center. The kid is amazing and with 97 and 22 both left wings Boldy will have to move to rw or c to be in the top six. What do you all think? It also depends on Rossi being able to step right in. It would be cool to see Rossi center Boldy and Fiala but not likely.

No guarantees that Rossi and/or Boldy make the team out of training camp.

I am not sure about Rossi but Boldy Will Make The Team. He is ready. He has the size, skill, smarts and plays a complete game. You put him with skilled players and you got something because he will fit like a glove.

Jamie Benn made a transition from w to c. But not everyone can do that. Boldly has size that would help at c but right now he needs to secure a spot on the team at his natural position. I think playing 3rd line would be a good start for him because he’d be playing against less talented players and building confidence. If Boldy has a strong camp, I think he’ll get PP minutes in season.

Boldy has been tried at C when he was in college and it jsut didn't work. He didn't start become a prolific player in college and he moved back to the wing. As I posted in another, I expect Boldy and Rossi to make the big club. Guerin has stated that if these earn a spot on the roster, it will not be to play bottom 6 minutes. Again, I see the lineup like this...

Zuccarello/Rossi/Kaprizov (playing with KK and Zucc will make it easier for Rossi)
Fiala/Hartman/Boldy (Both wings at their natural positions)
Greenway/Eriksson-Ek/Foligno (gotta have the GEM line)
Sturm/Gaudreau/Bjugstad (with Rask watching games from up high)

It might be a tad rough for Rossi to begin the season, playing on a line that will probably see the most defensive players against him. But I buy into his grit and determination to a stud in the NHL. Boldy looked like he belonged in the NHL last year in his few games with Iowa.

I really wanna see those top 3 roll.....it would be such a different look for the wild to be real feisty on the offensive side with two lines that could legit produce a 40 goal player.
